Pause Life

About
Pause Life is a Coors Light campaign created to encourage 21–27 year olds to slow down, check in with friends and prioritise meaningful moments in a fast-moving world. Inspired by a real story of two delivery drivers who helped save a man’s life by sharing a crate of Coors Light, the campaign reframes simple social moments as something more impactful. The concept was developed as a social-first activation beginning with a one-week takeover across digital platforms. The campaign focused on “pausing the chaos” and sparking conversation, with messaging integrated into Coors Light’s presence in bars, pubs, TV and social channels to create a consistent and wide-reaching narrative. The identity needed to feel seamless within the existing Coors Light brand while subtly introducing new messaging that encouraged reflection and connection. It had to sit naturally in real-world environments while still standing out enough to prompt attention and engagement. The final execution introduced a refreshed packaging system that, at first glance, remains familiar to Coors Light. However, subtle design interventions and messaging shifts transform the product into a conversation tool, encouraging audiences to check in with friends and bring mental health into everyday dialogue.
