Football Insider is one of the most widely recognised names in modern football media, with millions of followers across social platforms and a reputation built on breaking transfer news. As the brand expanded into a wider network of 19 sister brands, the need for a unified and scalable identity system became essential. Using Football Insider as the master brand, I developed a central concept that brings “The Insider” to life. This led to a distinctive icon built from the letterforms ‘F’ and ‘I’, forming a figure standing over a football and pointing towards the brand name. This created a bold, ownable mark designed for instant recognition across digital platforms. The system needed to bring clarity and consistency across a fast-growing network of publications while still allowing each sister brand to maintain its own identity. Alongside the core mark, I developed comprehensive brand guidelines and a structured design system that ensured uniformity across all 19 brands, each supported by their own colour system. To support high-volume publishing, I created a scalable social template system designed for speed, flexibility and consistency, enabling rapid content production without compromising quality. I also worked as a video editor, helping establish a new motion and video style across the main brand, further strengthening its presence across social platforms. The result is a cohesive and future-proofed identity system that unifies Football Insider’s expanding media network, strengthening brand recognition while improving efficiency across design, content and motion output.
